A Comparison of the Autonomous Use of Technology for Language Learning for EFL University Students of Different Proficiency Levels

Different aspects of second-language learners’ autonomous use technology for language learning have been investigated and its positive effects on reported. However, there is a paucity research whether different proficiency levels are associated with their perceptions own technology-enhanced (TELL). Therefore, this study examines the TELL outside English classes learners levels. Ninety-nine EFL college students (47 lower 52 higher proficiency) in northern Taiwan took survey TELL. The results demonstrated that students’ did not relate to involvement learning. Nearly one-third all take via class. both groups tended towards more receptive-skill activities than productive-skill technology, whereas attended those proficiency. In order benefit from learning, proper support guidance instructors crucial.
